Since we serve the Southeast region and the Charlotte area we are aware of many studios that are serving their communities with quality violin, viola and cello instruction.
These studios and individuals offer professional services in string instruction. In many cases, we have personally met the teachers or toured the studio. While we are confident in their qualifications, we recommend requesting a sample lesson or interview to determine a particular teacher's suitability to work with your student. Personality style and the teacher's main playing/teaching style can be a factor in choosing the right instructor. We do not make any guarantees as to their suitability to a particular student's needs.

Not all ensembles offer beginner instruction - some are specifically for developing ensemble skills such as following a conductor and studying more complex music; others require auditions or certain age students.
