This modern German cello made in 1967 by Friedrich Kreuzinger is magnificent example of a maker's cello. This reddish brown on an amber ground finish accentuates the double piece highly flamed maple back and medium grain spruce top. This instrument has a rich warm tone with lots of power. This is definitely a cello that will take an experienced player far in their musical career. One unique characteristic is the carve pattern around the edge of the instrument following the purfling.
